Each program takes a complete beginner through to an early advanced player, one tier at a time, entirely at your own pace.
Guitar, piano or bass. Pick your instrument and start tonight.
Acoustic and electric, from your first open chords to barre chords, fingerpicking and lead lines. You learn through the songs you already love, building rhythm and ear as you go.
per month
Chords, melody and both hands together, taught by ear rather than notation. From simple accompaniments to playing full songs with confidence and feel.
per month
The quiet engine of every band. Root notes, groove, walking lines and locking in with a drummer, built step by step until holding down a part feels natural.
per month, billed annually
Four tiers, one clear ladder. Here is what you can do by the end of each one.
Your first chords, your first song, and a hand that stops hurting. Everything is slow, kind and played along with you.
Changing chords in time and playing along with a recording. Songs start to sound like songs, and practice starts to feel like playing.
Hearing what a song is doing and finding it yourself. You stop needing to be shown every note and start working things out by ear.
Playing with other musicians and holding your own part. You can walk into a rehearsal room, hear what is needed and contribute it.
Fresh material lands every month, so there is always a next step waiting for you.
Every lesson is filmed clearly and can be replayed as often as you like, whenever suits you.
Exercises and song sheets to work through between lessons, matched to where you are.
See exactly which lessons you have finished and how far through your tier you have come.
Phone, tablet or computer. Your progress follows you from room to room.
No minimum term and no awkward phone call. You can cancel in a couple of clicks.
The whole first tier is free, and it always will be. No card, no trial period, no catch. If it suits
you, the rest of the ladder is waiting.
You want to learn at your own pace, in your own time, at a lower monthly cost. The lessons are ready whenever you are, and you can replay them as often as you need.
You want a teacher’s attention on your own playing and a fresh plan each week. Coaching students also get access to the matching program, so the work continues between lessons.
Yes. Your membership is for one program at a time, but you can switch to a different instrument at the end of any month. Many students move from guitar to bass, or add piano later.
You can. Each program is billed separately, and some students do run two instruments side by side. We would suggest settling into one for a couple of months first.
You keep access until the end of the month you have paid for, then your account simply stops. If you come back later, your progress is still there waiting for you.
Completely. Beginners 1 assumes nothing: not how to hold the instrument, not the names of the strings or keys, nothing. It is where most of our members start.
Fifteen to twenty minutes a day is plenty, and little and often beats one long session. The practice material is broken into small pieces so it fits around a normal week.
Yes, from around age eight for independent learning, and younger with a parent nearby to help with the screen. Many families work through the lessons together.
