The keys often end up leading, whether or not anyone planned it that way. This tier prepares you for that.

You learn to hold a song together on your own when nobody else is playing, and to step back when the band is full. We cover modulating between keys smoothly, filling space without crowding a singer, and reading what a room needs while you are playing rather than afterwards.

By the end you can carry a set, follow a leader who changes their mind mid song, and make everyone else in the room sound better.
