About Course

Playing alone and playing in a room with other people are different skills. This tier is about the second one.

The biggest lesson is restraint. When a bass, keys and a second guitar are all playing, filling every gap turns into noise. You learn what to leave out, how to sit underneath a singer, and how to hold a part that supports everyone else rather than competing with them.

We also cover following a key change on the spot, reacting when a song goes somewhere unrehearsed, and playing lead lines that serve the song instead of showing off. By the end you can walk into a rehearsal, hear what is needed, and provide it.
